Appendix carry adjustments

When I first started posting concealed carry outfits, people would lose their minds because I was carrying at 11 o’clock (my support side).

Tons of people told me I was wrong and a few people even told me this would get me killed because the draw was so much slower.

I was still learning and didn’t know much, but I knew I’d found the sweet spot in concealment for my body shape.

So, I kept carrying there and practicing my draw from that position and it’s still where I carry.

12 o’clock is a hard position to conceal for a lot of people because it’s a peak (high spot). It’s easy to move to a valley (low spot) on either side.

Anywhere from about 10-2 o’clock works. Strong side is probably best for most people, but if you have shoulder mobility issues, try your support side.

I don’t want to make any promises, but if you practice your draw regularly, 1-2 inches off your centerline is not going to get you killed. Probably.
