Off Body Carry | X-Block Designs Rex R2 Bag

X-Block Designs sent me one of their Rex R2 backpacks to try out from a female concealed carrier perspective.

It’s designed for off-body carry, which is something I like when hiking. The bag is nice and light, so it swings around easily for quick access on the side.

They have a pretty slick black version that doesn’t scream, “hey, I’m super tactical!” but I never pass up M81.

Overall it’s slightly too large for me. I’m 5’ tall, and although I have broad shoulders, the straps and bag itself were a little too long.

I’m putting them on notice to make a smaller version so I can order right away. 😂.

My husband grabbed it from me, and it worked great for him on our recent adventure. He didn’t use it for off-body carry, but it held our water and food and clothes.

The inside of the bag has a full velcro panel with clips so you can attach MOLLE gear. It also has a full-length front pocket and mesh pockets inside.

It’s made here in the USA by a small business, and I have to say the quality blew me away. The stitching and detail are on-point.

I’m a big fan of people-run businesses that make products with intention. Give @xblockdesign a follow on Instagram and check out their bags!
