Here are four methods to try if you workout at a commercial gym:

  1. Bellyband with a holster attached.

  2. Comfort concealment band with a holster attached.

  3. The Enigma by Phlster.

  4. Off-body carry in a backpack or fanny pack.

At 5’ tall, I don’t have much torso to work with so when I carry it’s hard to bend and move like I’d need to when working out. It’s all good when I’m walking, running or hiking, but doesn’t work for lifting weights so my preference there is off-body carry.

If you choose off-body, keep the bag as close as possible to you at all times. I like the idea of a fanny pack or backpack because you can wear it while you walk around.

Make sure you attach the holster to the fanny pack or backpack with heavy duty velcro so you can draw. And never leave your firearm in a gym locker. They can be picked so easily.
