A Casual + Tactical Guide To Christmas
CASUAL EVERYDAY CARRY
Holster: Blacksmith Tactical Micro Rig | $50 (code TEAMBEANS saves you 10% off)
This is hands down my favorite holster of all time. I didn't carry consistently until I got it. And I converted my husband to using it. We each have a Micro Rig for all our carry pistols. And I might have a few options for some of mine!
Pocket Knife: Kershaw Blur | $70
I picked this knife because it’s what my husband carried and I’ve grown to love it. My favorite features are the grippy texture and the assistened open so I can manage it with one hand. My husband has had several of these over the years and they are extremely reliable and hold up well.
Flashlight: OLight S2R II | $70
This little guy packs a lot of lumens and is small enough to fit in my pocket. It charges easily on a magnet and lasts a while between charges.
Bellyband Holster: Sticky Holsters Bellyband | $70
I’m growing to love this bellyband because it’s two pieces so it’s ultra adjustable. I wear it daily on my walks and any time I’m wearing leggings or joggers. It’s soft inside and has been worth the investment.
Belt: Mastermind Tactics Specialist | $37
This belt is ultra lightweight, sturdy and extremely low profile. It’s my daily wear.
Leggings + Joggers: Alexo Athletica | $90-110
I’m a big fan of everything Alexo, but the leggings and new joggers are superb!
HOME TRAINING ESSENTIALS
Mantis X10 Elite | $250
This is the Bentley of dry fire training. You can use it dry or live and it tracks so many aspects of your shooting. The app has drills as well as detailed analysis of your shots. The best part? There’s built-in tutorials to help you fix issues.
iTarget Pro | $100
This was my first dry-fire trainer and I still love it. The laser is so helpful and the feedback is real-time.
SnapCaps | $15
You can’t beat a couple of packs of Snap Caps for dry-fire training and simulating malfunctions.
Armed In Style Dry Fire Pillow | $30
Tactical, but make it fashion. These pillows are super cute for your home decor and give you a chance to practice your dry firing any time.
STOCKING STUFFERS
Frog Lube Cleaning Kit | $40
Frog Lube is the best cleaner I’ve found because it’s natural, but super effective. We’ve been using it for years!
Tiny Pistol Necklace | $20
Hello, is this not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?
Ammo Bag | $45
I’m obsessed with these ammo bags and even have a few of their mag pouches. They’re heavy coated canvas so they hold up well and you can pack a ton of ammo in there. We use these at the range because it’s easier to reload than from boxes.
Style Me Tactical Pouch | $20
I love this matte black pouch and honestly anything Emily from SMT does!
Check out this list of books on all things casual + tactical!
Casual+Tactical Sticker Pack | $18
Of course you need a C+T sticker pack in your stocking! These are heavyweight matte vinyl and were all designed by me!
CASUAL + TACTICAL KICKS
Clearweather Interceptor Borealis
Hands down one of my most comfortable pair of kicks. I love Clearweather because they’re an independent brand that makes quality products. Plus you won’t see anyone else with these on!
I have several pair of P448, but these are an absolute staple. They come in many colorways and you can dress them up and down.
One of my most-worn styles. My husband and I can’t stop buying Swift Runs because they are so comfortable.
I get tons of compliments on these and I love that you can dress them up or down.
I love the fit of the 270 and you can definitely wear these all day.
A little throwback with a modern twist. These come in several colors, but the yellow packs a punch.
